CAD Pattern Maker
We are looking for an experienced and detail-driven CAD Pattern Drafter to join our fashion consultancy team and production house, supporting a curated portfolio of luxury and value-based fashion clients. This role is essential in transforming refined design visions into technically sound, production-ready patterns with precision, discretion, and an intimate understanding of high-end garment construction.
The successful candidate will bring deep technical knowledge, digital pattern-making expertise, and the flexibility to support diverse brand aesthetics — from heritage houses to contemporary luxury labels.
Key Responsibilities:
Draft and develop accurate digital patterns using CAD software, reflecting high-end fit, drape, and construction standards.
Interpret complex design sketches, technical packs, and couture references to build structured and fluid pattern solutions.
Grade patterns across premium sizing standards (e.g., bespoke, EU/UK/US luxury scale) while maintaining proportion and balance.
Ensure all patterns meet the unique aesthetic, fit, and brand DNA of each client.
Maintain secure digital archives, version control, and meticulous documentation per brand.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in CAD pattern drafting, with a significant portion in high-end or luxury fashion.
Mastery of one or more CAD systems (Lectra, Gerber, Vetigraph, CLO 3D, Optitex, or similar).
Exceptional understanding of garment construction, couture techniques, and premium finishing methods.
Strong experience with both structured and delicate fabrics (e.g., silks, wools, lace, leather, organza).
Experience working across bespoke, ready-to-wear, or demi-couture is highly advantageous.
Comfortable working independently, yet collaboratively, in a client-driven environment.
